The blank uses High Performance Graphite from Toray® of Japan and is finished beautifully in a Black finish with the Jigstar logo etched into the blanks.The increased length offers a longer butt length and longer reach than before yet still saves weight making Jig Star rods easy to fish all day, every day.

The Ninja Overhead rod features our standard specifications including Fuji® PSS Reel Seat with the latest ALPS® SSMNZG Guides/ Fuji® K Frame Alconite Guide and custom componentry. To avoid “Dead Spots” caused by excessive binding, all Jig Star rods are bound on the Guide feet and nothing between. This feature maintains the Blanks natural curve and sensitivity.

The Phantom is a 5’7″ rod with great butt power and a light, fast tip.
The requirements for the Phantom was to develop an exceptional rod for jigging for Dogtooth Tuna as well as a rod to double down as an outstanding live or dead bait rod for many species. The tip not only works lighter jigs but transmits those pre-bite panic vibrations from live baits early enough to prepare the angler for the impending chaos. The longer rod length allows easier manuvering around duckboards or outboard obstacles.

Snapper are one of the most keenly sought-after fish throughout Australasia and
anglers are adapting new methods to catch these quality table fish.

The latest Japanese technique to target Snapper is with the use of sliding Kabura jigs that are fished similar to Inchiku jigs. The Tai Kabura rod is designed to fish mainly Kabura but will equally handle Inchiku, Micro and Slow Pitch jigs.
